Development of the marmoset embryo-manipulating technologies for efficient generation of knock-in animals and reduction of generation interval

In order to accelerate brain mapping of the common marmoset, we are trying to develop three types of embryo-manipulating technology. Firstly, we are planning to develop technology for efficient generation of knock-in animals by manipulating embryos using genome editing techniques such as TALEN and CRISPR/Cas. Secondly, we are trying to develop embryo-freezing technology for efficient generation and for storage of genetically modified marmosets. Thirdly, we are trying to develop micro-insemination technology to reduce generation interval.
