Multiple molecular and radiological analysis of Parkinson’s disease pathogenesis based on patients and animal models

We aim to identify disease-specific biomarkers for Parkinson’s disease (PD)，PD with dementia, and dementia with Lewy bodies. Our strategy is to detect abnormalities in the neural network by cranial MRI diffusion tensor imaging，and compare them with changes of plasma metabolites, plasma immunological factors and RNA expression. Adding on that, we try to establish transgenic marmoset models with a mutation in the disease responsible gene and analyze them with the same method described above.
